Library
Our specialist photography library and resource centre stock nearly 13,000 titles (including general works, monographs and technical texts), as well as 4,000 files on different photographers, and can be consulted free of charge by researchers and enthusiasts.
New opening hours of the library of the Musée de la Photographie since 1 July 2014
Tuesday to Thursday from 10 am to 12.30 am and from 13.00 pm to 18 pm

Each 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month is the library open from 10 am to 12.30 am and from 13.00 pm to 18 pm.

We recommend that you let us know when you plan to visit so that our librarians can provide assistance with your specific research requirements.

Museum park
Covering over 2 acres, this park is home to a variety of protected tree species that are deemed part of Belgium’s natural heritage and is the perfect place for a stroll… The outer walls of this beautiful green space celebrate photographers whose works have been exhibited at the Museum of Photography in recent years.

Museum shop
Located in a brand new area by the main entrance, the Museum shop sells our own publications and a selection of works on photography, as well as decorative items, gift ideas for all ages (including gifts for you!), cameras and other devices relating to photography, pictures or light.

Museum Café
Whether you fancy a snack or just a drink, make your way to the Museum Café. We offer a range of sandwiches, salads and pasta, as well as treats for those with a sweet tooth. The Museum Café is a peaceful spot where you can have a bite to eat and enjoy wonderful views out over the Carmelite park. We recommend that groups wishing to eat at the Café contact the Café managers in advance on 071/43.58.10 so that we can make arrangements for your visit.
